Welcome to Life Behind Ears!
My name is Sinclaire Dobelbower. I am a proud graduate of the agricultural communications program at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, and I am currently earning my Master of Science in Agricultural Communications from TTU. I am originally from the Fort Worth area, and made the move to Lubbock for college several years ago.
I started riding when I was seven years old. My mom has been riding horses since she was a little girl, so it was only natural for me to follow in her footsteps and start riding when I was young.
I grew up around the rodeo and cutting horse industry, and when I came to college with my horses in tow, I began showing in horsemanship classes through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. The last few years, I have been showing in AQHA, PHBA, NRCHA, NRHA, and Stock Horse of Texas shows.
I love all aspects of the horse industry and lifestyle, which is what inspired me to start this blog. I try to post funny, relatable, and informational content about being a horse owner.
